The Government has today responded to the Foreign Affairs Select Committee report on UK-Russia relations, published in March under the chairmanship of Crispin Blunt MP at that time.
Crispin Blunt welcomed the publication of the response, commenting:

Together with Stephen Trigg and Antony Simm of the Reigate, Redhill and District Rail Users’ Association (RRDRUA), Crispin Blunt MP, President of the RRDRUA, yesterday met with the Rail Minister, Paul Maynard MP.
Following sustained pressure by Crispin Blunt MP on behalf of the Reigate, Redhill & District Rail Users’ Association, John Halsall, Route Managing Director at Network Rail today confirmed that design work has started on a longer platform at Reigate rail station.
Following the decision by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to retain changes to Gatwick Airport’s departure Route 4, Crispin Blunt and local community groups affected by aircraft noise under this route have been pressing Gatwick Airport to review the route.
The summer recess has offered some time for contemplation on matters most pressing for the Reigate Constituency. There are a number of key themes emerging which I will be addressing in the coming months.
Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (E&SHT) needs public support for its proposal to create a new Specialist Acute Care Facility which will provide 21ST century solutions to acute health care needs in the Trust area.
