Crispin Blunt responds to Thames Estuary Airport decision

Crispin Blunt, MP for Reigate and Chair of the Gatwick Coordination Group, a group of Backbench MPs with constituencies close to Gatwick, made the following statement this morning in response to the Howard Davies Airports Commission's decision to rule out a Thames Estuary option.

Crispin Blunt investigates recent increase in aircraft noise

Following a recent increase in complaints of increased aircraft noise over Redhill and Earlswood, Crispin Blunt today visited Gatwick Airport for an explanation, and also met with Heathrow and the MP for Mole Valley, Sir Paul Beresford, to identify the cause of the increase in overflight noise, and investigate potential remedies and future trends in aircraft noise patterns.

Crispin Blunt visits Biffa landfill site in Redhill

Reigate MP, Crispin Blunt, today visited the Biffa Landfill site in Redhill. Following further complaints from constituents about smells coming from the site, Crispin held talks with Biffa managers Mick Davies and Amie Jenner.
