Students in my constituency are eligible for the Sutton Trust Summer Schools Programme 2021 - applications have been open since January 11th.

The programme is designed to help young people from less advantaged backgrounds to make informed choices about their futures. By spending a week with a leading university, participants will have a chance to experience student life and receive crucial support with applications.

On the new Apprenticeship Summer School, students will have the chance to explore degree-level apprenticeships as an alternative to university. During the three-day programme, participants will have the opportunity to meet current apprentices, network with leading employers,and meet other young people who are intetested in apprenticeships.

The Sutton Trust has been supporting students for over 20 years. This year they will be offering more support than ever through its new digital platform, where programmes can be hosted virtually, whilst high-quality resources and exclusive events are provided throughout the year to help students succeed, eithe rin person or online.

The programme is open to students attending state schools.
