News on from SGN on gas works programme on London Road South, Redhill

I am writing to provide an update about our work on London Road South, Redhill.

As we started to progress down London Road South, we discovered further engineering complications, including the need to upgrade our pipes to a larger diameter to ensure the community continues to receive a reliable supply. It has therefore been agreed that the best course of action is to postpone the work to allow our engineering team to evaluate next steps.

By the end of this Saturday 11 July, the road closure on Rocky Lane will be lifted and our temporary lights removed.

I’ll be in touch when we reschedule our work, which is likely to be after September this year.
