Surrey Matters Coronavirus Special 2020
Keeping residents up to date about their county April 2020
Dear Surrey resident
“These are unprecedented times, and it calls for unprecedented action. We all must do everything we can to help and protect vulnerable people and key workers. This will save lives and so is of the utmost importance.
“There are a number of changes to Surrey County Council services – and our staff are working hard to provide advice and support.
“We also appreciate your understanding where we’ve had to suspend some of our services to protect staff
and support social distancing.
“We’ve set up a Community Helpline on 0300 200 1008 (8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, Saturday to Sunday 10am - 2pm) to help direct residents who need added support and to provide advice to residents on where they can register an offer of help to support their community.”
