Notice of Public Meeting:
Friday 20th March 2020, 7 pm, at Banstead Community Hall, Park Road, Banstead SM7 3AJ
to Support Sutton as the choice of site for Epsom & St Helier NHS Hospitals Trust's new Acute Care Facility
After securing £500mio to update Epsom and St Helier Hospital Trust’s facilities, the NHS is now consulting the public on the proposed location of a new, state of the art, acute care facility. The consultation runs until 1 April 2020.
The preferred site for this new facility is Sutton, benefitting from co-location with the Royal Marsden Cancer hospital and all its expertise, as well as being the best value and easiest to build, not to mention being nearest to Reigate and Banstead. The funding will also enable upgrades to the existing Epsom and St Helier hospitals.
This public meeting, hosted by the Senior Management Team at Epsom and St Helier NHS Hospital Trust and Crispin Blunt, MP for Reigate, will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and ask questions, prior to responding to the consultation here:
